Maria Fetzer

Maria Fetzer is an attorney-at-law and joined the Spirit Legal team in 2017. When advising clients she specialises in data protection, technology, media and litigation.
She studied law at Leipzig University with a focus on media law and is currently pursuing a doctorate in data protection law on legal issues of autonomous and automated mobility.
Prior to joining Spirit Legal, she worked in the public administration of a large German city and in the legal department of an international automotive group in Stuttgart.
She gets to apply her love of technology and medicine when advising clients with their sophisticated data-driven business models, distribution platforms, but also R&D professionals in healthcare and mobility.
In her free time, she is always on the lookout for new inspiration. That’s why she can often be found at food festivals and in Leipzig’s cafés. She also likes to keep fit, jogging through Leipzig’s woods and has a passion for Latin American dance.
