Franziska Weber

Franziska Weber is an attorney-at-law at Spirit Legal specialising in economic and media law.
Her main areas of expertise are advising clients on aspects of commercial and corporate law, labour law, media law, data protection and competition law. Besides providing counsel and working on contracts, Franziska Weber has a predilection for litigation.
Her clients include start-ups with innovative business models but also established companies that are tackling the challenges of digitization. From employment to Industry 4.0, legal departments and business owners appreciate comprehensive counsel at the point where conventional economic law meets the latest in data and media law.
Franziska Weber joined the team at Spirit Legal in 2017. Before this she worked as an attorney-at-law at a major commercial law firm in Bayreuth.
She is also pursuing a doctorate in media and press law, focusing on personal rights infringements.
Franziska Weber studied law in Bayreuth and completed a supplementary economics qualification with an emphasis on management and competition, earning her the title of ‘Wirtschaftsjuristin’ (graduate in economic law) from the University of Bayreuth.
Franziska Weber is a qualified and certified Data Privacy Officer (TÜV).
When not at work, she champions animal welfare and likes spending time with her four-legged friends: a dog, a cat and two horses.
